Smartrak Web Based Application Suite
The Smartrak application suite is a revolutionary series of database-driven applications on a web-based platform. Smartrak was designed for shared web access and real-time collaboration. It dramatically surpasses cumbersome legacy software, at a fraction of the cost. Some legacy applications have been ‘retro-fitted’ to the Web, but do not provide the multi-entity tracking, multi-party access, data sharing, critical data elements, relational capabilities, communication features, versatility or speed of Smartrak. They are not in the same league, in features or in terms of acquisition and maintenance costs.
Smartrak combines elements of the following applications:
- Traditional Network Asset Management (NAM)
- Customer Inventory Management (CIM)
- Operations Support Systems (OSS), and
- Trouble-Ticketing (Help-Desk) software
Smartrak Inc. has several distinct service offerings based on one eCRM database application:
- Smartrak Asset Management is for deployment by service providers (carriers or carrier providers) and is designed to track the telecomm assets of multiple end user enterprise companies or large government entities.
- Smartrak Order Management is for providing front-end customer order management and integration to the back end Smartrak Asset Management and allows order management and provisioning, on-line status updates, and order incident management (service incidents and trouble tickets).
- Smartrak CPE Management is for providing and tracking the management information related to the customers network equipment, termination equipment, or other customer hardware. An example would be to track and report on Cisco SmartNet maintenance.
